SPARKLING WINES

Domaine Chandon Brut-California
This is a lively, full-flavored sparkler with a steady stream of delicate, pinpoint bubbles.

Taittinger La Francaise-France
Pinot Noir gives this celebration wine from France
all the body it needs to stand up to our Chef's bold flavored food.

ROSE

Buehler White Zinfandel-Oakville, California
Buehler produces an off dry white Zin that shines with hints of
strawberries and rose petals to make for a subtle palate pleaser.

Chateau Routas Rouviere-Vin de Pays, France
Don't be fooled by the delicate pink color of this dry Southern French rose;
it packs a powerful Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault punch that demands attention.

CHARDONNAY

Macon Lugny Les Charmes-Macon, France
This single-vineyard French Chardonnay comes from the southernmost reaches
of the Burgundy region. The wine sees no oak, giving it plenty of opportunity
to show off its honest, fresh fruit flavors.

Claera El Nino Chardonnay-San Benito Valley, California
A 100 percent barrel-fermented and barrel-aged beauty. This wine has a fresh, crisp
aroma with hints of citrus, mango and toasted nuts. It is a complex, full-bodied
Chardonnay with depth and a long finish.

Cakebread Chardonnay-Napa Valley, California
California is known for producing "full-on" chardonnays, and Cakebread is the standard bearer.
This oakey, buttery giant begs for the richest dish on the menu.

SAUVIGNON BLANC

Fairview Sauvignon Blanc-Cape of Good Hope, South Africa
The reins have been pulled in on this crisp white from South Africa showing off
a perfect marriage of Old and New World winemaking techniques.

Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc-New Zealand
Traditionally styled Savvy from New Zealand, loaded with citrus fruit
and whiffs of fresh cut grass.

Frog's Leap Sauvignon Blanc-Rutherford, California
Organic farming rules the roost at Frog's Leap! This is a clean, crisp white
with a generous dose of fresh pink grapefruit flavors.

OTHER WHITES

Beckman Marsanne-Santa Ynez, California
The Central Coast of California captures the sun early providing for
a Marsanne with silken, honey texture and ripe, summer fruit flavors.

Pepi Pinot Grigio-Willamette Valley, Oregon
Not your typical wimpy Pinot Grigio, this Oregon white packs a fruity punch
and finishes with just a hint of acidity for perfect harmony.

Caymus Conundrum-Napa Valley, California
Put yourself to the test; order a bottle and see if you can name the five
grapes used to make this puzzle of a wine. We'll give you a few
hints: butter, flower bouquet, honey, kiwi and vanilla. Jim's favorite.

Sokol Blosser Evolution #9-Oregon
It's a given that Susan Sokol Blosser will always delight us with her
deliciously complex wines, but what we're really intrigued and excited about
is the message in the bottle. Sit back, relax and enjoy life!

D'Arnberg Stump Jump Riesling-McLaren Vale, Australia
A charismatic blend of 65% Riesling, 24% Savvy and 12% Marsanne makes
this festive and outgoing Aussie white the perfect complement to Maine shellfish.

CABERNET

Hess Select Cabernet-California
The Hess winery sits high on a hill in Napa and boasts one of the world's finest
private collections of contemporary art. Year-in and year-out, their Cab finds itself
in an easily accessible spot in our cellar.

MERLOT

Porcupine Ridge Merlot-South Africa
Dark stone fruit flavors make for a robust, yet soft-styled Merlot.

L'Ecole #41 Merlot-Columbia, Washington
Delicate, silken and soothing ... everything an old-school Merlot should be.

OTHER REDS

Flaio Primitivo-Salento, Italy
Similar to a California Zin, this is an intoxicating, lovable, robusto red from the heel of the boot of Italy.

David Bruce Pinot Noir-Central Coast, California
David Bruce crafts seductively smooth Pinot Noirs, and our favorite is from his stable in the sunny Central Coast.

St. Supery Red Meritage-Napa Valley, California
Grapes for this estate-grown wine come from property located in Rutherford
and the beautiful Pope Valley. Each year a different artist is commissioned to design
the label for this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Verdot and Cabernet Franc.

Marietta Old Vine-California
This proprietary field-blend of Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, Gamay and Carrignon
combines for a lush and intense red with a graceful finish.

Goats do Roam Red-South Africa
Pinotage is the hybrid grape varietal of South Africa, and this is that country's
top selling red. On the nose, the wine conjures up cigars, a damp forest floor and chocolate.
This wine embraces a few patient swirls of the glass to introduce a breath of air to the robust juice.

ZINFANDEL

Toad Hollow Cacophony-Sonoma, California
Tod Williams, the brother of that wacky comedian, Robin Williams makes this tempestuous
red wine with his pal Rodney Strong. The area around Paso Robles is renowned
for its juicy, mouth-filling Zins, and this white pepper cherry bomb is no exception.

T-Vines-Napa Valley, California
This is a hard-to-find, small batch, power-monger Zin from Napa. Try it here,
and then search it out at your favorite wine shop.

RHONE REDS

Chapoutier Cotes du Rhone-Cotes du Rhone, France
This earthy and robust wine is what we call our "comfort red."
Always delicious, always pleasing. Touch the label, it's written in brail.
